Our Team

Charlie is the founder and President of Keyes Architects & Associates, PLLC. He has been a licensed architect since 1987, holding a National Certification with the N.C.A.R.B., which assists with registration in virtually any state. His responsibilities include project procurement, production management, overseeing the general operations, and client service. His experiences in construction, design/build, and full-service architectural firms, help immensely in this firm’s ability to schedule projects, control costs, and deal with the client’s most complex issues. He is proficient in most National Building, Fire and Life Safety Codes.

Eric joined the firm full-time in 2004. He brings extensive experience in electronics, drafting, and computer aided designs. He has worked in electronic repair, computer repair, networking, and as an applications programmer. He also has several years’ experience in general construction and electrical wiring. His responsibilities include managing production, construction management, computer software and hardware maintenance, network security, and web page development.

Eric has designed several projects of over a million dollars. Recent projects include Kentucky’s first completely digital movie theater, a three-story medical complex, a large church camp and dining hall, and a bank designed around a tutor-style building. He is also an expert in the Sketchup 3-D Design program enabling clients to visually see their projects on all sides in 3-D and a “walk-around” in movie format.

Debby joined the firm in 2017. She has actively studied theological and liturgical design for 15 years and has a passion for designing spaces to meet the theological needs of the congregation. She is experienced in all phases of projects from design through construction management, and has managed projects in a wide range of sizes. She has worked on multiple LEED projects and enjoys implementing sustainable considerations in building design.

Karen joined Keyes Architects & Associates, PLLC as a Project Coordinator in June, 2011. Her knowledge and experience in computer-aided designs in various types of buildings and construction, along with Word, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Lite 2012, Architectural Desktop, 3-D Design, Excel, Microsoft Access, and MS Word makes her a valuable employee.

Garrett joined Keyes Architects & Associates, PLLC in February, 2017. He is brings experience in AutoCAD, and Microsoft’s Office Suite, honed while working in Project Management in woodworking trades. He is knowledgeable in the fields of Architecture, Cabinetry, and Solid Surface fabrication.

Nick joined Keyes Architects & Associates, PLLC in September, 2017. He brings experience in AutoCAD Civil and Architectural where he works to create construction drawing sets. He aids in site layout, project drafting and organization.

Ty joined Keyes Architects & Associates, PLLC in June 2023. Ty brings 32 years experience including AutoCAD, Architectural, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Ty has experience in the phases of a project from design through Construction Documents. 

Andrew joined Keyes Architects & Associates, PLLC in October, 2021. He draws from over 17 years of construction experience, having worked in residential design, home construction and remodeling, structural steel detailing, commercial steel siding installation, and construction project management.  This combination of field and office experience allows Andrew to quickly find practical, versatile, and thorough solutions to design project challenges.  Andrew’s favorite projects involve brining new life to existing buildings through adaptive re-use or historical restoration.

Kelly joined Keyes Architects & Associates, PLLC as a Project Administrator in December, 2011. She brings over 20 years’ experience in construction management. Kelly is proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Archi-Office, Quickbooks, and Ajera. She has worked in all aspects of office management from receptionist/ clerical and accounting to project coordinator

Becky joined Keyes Architects and Associates PLLC in June 2023. Becky brings over 25 years of experience in Office/ Receptionist and Customer Service work with over 12 years experience in Construction Coordination and Service Management. Becky excels in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Adobe, & Project, QuickBooks, and more.
